Frequently asked questions.
What is a health and wellness life coach?
A health and wellness life coach helps individuals achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized guidance, support, and strategies.
How does health and wellness coaching differ from therapy?
Coaching focuses on setting and achieving specific wellness goals, whereas therapy often addresses deeper emotional and psychological issues.
What can I expect during a coaching session?
During a session, we will discuss your goals, assess your current lifestyle, and create a tailored plan to help you achieve your wellness objectives. As your coach, I am here to hold a safe space, listen intently, ask specific questions, and wait for the “light bulb moment” to happen within you!
How long does the coaching process take?
The duration varies based on individual goals and progress, but many clients work with a coach for several months to a year.
Do you offer virtual coaching sessions?
Yes, that’s all that I offer! It makes it easier with busy life schedules to find the time that’s best for you, in the comfort of your own home (and not have to deal with traffic!).
What kind of results can I expect from health and wellness coaching?
Results vary by individual but may include improved physical fitness, better nutrition, enhanced mental well-being, and a more balanced lifestyle. Short term benefits may include clarity in goal setting, increased self-awareness, improved motivation, and better time & stress management.
How do you track progress and measure success?
Progress is tracked through regular check-ins, goal assessments, and adjustments to your personalized plan as needed.
How much does coaching cost?
My prices start as low as $130 per session. The cost varies depending on the type and duration of the coaching program. I offer different packages to suit various needs and budgets.
Is there a minimum commitment period?
I recommend a minimum commitment of 5 sessions to see meaningful results, but we can discuss flexible options based on your situation.
Do you provide meal plans or workout routines?
No, I don’t provide meal plans or specific workout routines. I’m not a registered dietician, and I don’t believe the hype with a “one size fits all” kind of meal plan offerings that you may come across online. I can provide general insight and healthier options to help you understand what works best for your body. The same thing holds true for workout plans. Based on the fact that every BODY is different, it would make it difficult to provide a workout plan without seeing how you move in order to prevent injury or compensatory patterns. I can provide suggestions, just not a specific plan.
What techniques do you use to help clients manage stress?
I use a combination of mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and lifestyle adjustments to help clients manage stress effectively.
How do you tailor your coaching to individual needs?
I conduct an initial assessment to understand your unique goals, challenges, and lifestyle. Then we create a personalized plan to address your specific needs.
What kind of support is available between sessions?
I offer email support between sessions to help you stay on track and address any questions or challenges that arise.
Can you work with clients who have specific health conditions?
Yes, I can work with clients who have specific health conditions, in collaboration with their healthcare providers, to create a safe and effective wellness plan.
